The International Commodores Association, like its statewide regional partner, the Florida Commodores
Association, is made up of past commodores and current flag officers of recognized yacht clubs. Membership
in both the ICA and the FCA is by invitation only and based on the mutual respect of the members. P/C Tringali
was one of the founders of the both groups, and was recently elected Vice Commodore for Education of the International
association.
In that capacity, P/C Tringali is heading up one of the most exciting progams that has come
along in years: The Academy of Yachting Officers and Professionals which will be held in Orlando, Florida, in February, 2012.
This intensive two-and-one-half day knowledge-sharing experience will draw experts from all over the country, and is a "must
have" training for anyone who is or expects to be an officer or professional manager of a yachting organization.
